The Marble Schoolhouse, built in 1835, is one of the oldest schoolhouses in the United States. It is now a museum and a popular tourist attraction. The Bronx River Parkway Reservation, which runs through Eastchester, is a beautiful park that features hiking trails, picnic areas, and scenic views of the Bronx River. The park is also home to a variety of wildflowers, including the purple coneflower and the black-eyed Susan.
